Living in Southern California has it’s ups and downs. The traffic, cost of living, and overcrowding can be a bummer sometimes but when we have days like yesterday, in January, all those complaints go out the window. I started out my day by going to brunch with some girlfriends and we were all burning up! We had sweaters, jeans and boots on because, well it’s winter! I knew right away the day was going to beautiful. The weather ended up being around 80 degrees! These are the days where I like to brag about living in Southern California, while almost everywhere else is freezing. Once I got home from brunch, I knew right away that I wanted to go to the beach to watch the sunset. The beach is my absolute favorite place to go. The waves, sand, and the beach lifestyle makes my heart happy. So I knew I had to make it down there to catch the sunset. We went to Sunset Beach, which is only a short 30 minute drive from my house, (well yesterday it only took 20 minutes since my husband was driving). We got there 20 minutes before the sunset. The weather was amazing, around 65 degrees. I set up my camera and started shooting away. If you ever have a chance to watch a California sunset, you won’t regret it! They’re absolutely gorgeous. Perfect way to end a Sunday night.
